The Heiress - Triptych Windows Series

THE PIN: The interior shape of Bo-Katan's window combined with its frame is itself the shape of the iron heart (also known as the Mandalorian diamond), symbolizing how inextricably bound Bo-Katan is to her Mandalorian identity. Behind her, the dome of Sundari, capital city of Mandalore, is shattered with cracks and fissures, broken. The colors here echo the colors in Ahsoka's S7/Siege of Mandalore window - the colors of sunset and the end of an era, or, perhaps in Bo-Katan's case, the colors of sunrise, and the beginning of a new age. Notice how in Satine Kryze's window, the darksaber points down, descending towards her, but in her sister's, it instead rises. The flowers climbing the sides of the iron heart are nasturtium, which symbolize patriotism and conquest. Over it all preside the wings of Bo-Katan's Nite Owl. (Bonus: In Greek Mythology, the owl was the symbol of Athena, goddess of wisdom and strategy)

THE SERIES: A triptych is a piece of art that is divided into three, fairly common among old stained glass installations. The goal with this series is to create enough pins of beloved SW characters for people to build their own triptych in a custom frame resembling a stone wall we hope to eventually fund. For now, these 5" pin-on-pins will have the character opaque in the foreground while the window behind will have stained glass effects.
