The Captain - Triptych Windows Series

THE PIN: Rex's flower is the Scilla flower, which represents loyalty. Pictured at the top of the frame is a silhouette of the crashing Tribunal, the ship he and Ahsoka escaped from during Order 66. Unfortunately, many of his brothers were not as fortunate, which we wanted to picture in the helms of the fallen soldiers of the 332nd. The sun in the background is similar to the one pictured in Anakin's frame...except here, the sun rays are meant to call to mind the spoked symbol of the Galactic Republic, which the clouds are rolling in over, about to blot out.

THE SERIES: A triptych is a piece of art that is divided into three, fairly common among old stained glass installations. The goal with this series is to create enough pins of beloved SW characters for people to build their own triptych in a custom frame resembling a stone wall we hope to fund. These 5" pin-on-pins will have the character opaque in the foreground while the window behind will mainly be transparent/stained glass, expect for smaller areas.
