The Betrayed - Triptych Windows Series

THE PIN: At the top of Ventress's window, the sickly sun of Dathomir is framed by the silhouette of temple ruins, which give way to the shape of Talzin's - Clan Mother of the Nightsisters - pauldrons. These in turn give way to the inverted shape of the central spire of the capital of Pantora, where Asajj met Quinlan Vos...the meeting that would ultimately determine her fate. Count Dooku's pendants and chain are also pictured, but the chain has snapped, a broken bond, while his Force lightning encroaches on her, consuming. Ventress's flower is the mountain laurel, a flower that symbolizes ambition and perseverance due to its ability to survive in rocky terrain and along forgotten roads. However, mountain laurels can also represent treachery, because while they're beautiful, they are also poisonous, even to the touch.

THE SERIES: A triptych is a piece of art that is divided into three, common among old stained glass installations. The goal with this series is to create enough pins of beloved SW characters for people to build their own triptych in a custom frame resembling a stone wall we hope to fund - but that's a ways down the road. For now, suffice to say, these 5" pin-on-pins will have the character opaque in the foreground while the window behind will have transparent/stained glass effects.
