THE PIN: With Obi-wan’s second window, we wanted to chart the story of the Clone Wars as experienced by him personally from its beginning to its end. In the window’s background, the grid of a holo map - the kind often consulted by the Jedi during strategy sessions - contains several of the planets most key to those experiences, chronologically: Kamino, Geonosis, Mandalore, and Utapau. Around him blooms calla lily, a flower that can both mean life and symbolize death, here representing Duchess Satine. Boga the varactyl is also hinted at, following the tradition of knights being depicted with their steeds. At the top of the window, overshadowing all else, is the moment that brings about the end of one war and eventually, the beginning of another: Palpatine’s declaration of Order 66, here received by Commander Cody.

THE TRIPTYCH WINDOWS SERIES: A triptych is a piece of art that is divided into three, fairly common among old stained glass installations.
