THE PIN: The title of Ezra’s pin isn’t simply a play on his name. In more ways than one, Ezra acts as a bridge, a connector between people, places, creatures…perhaps even times.

With that in mind, his tower, the mark of his home on Lothal, stands central with its different spokes binding north to south and east to west. Behind it looms the Sith holocron that tempted him with he promise of his parents, but in this night, The Ghost, his family, sheds a guiding light.

The reaching tentacles of the purrgil mirror the climbing flames in Kanan’s window, not just in shape, but meaning; flames and tentacles are the symbols of their sacrifice to save their friends. Flashes of white fur hint at Loth-wolves guiding Ezra on his journey, while the red zinnias represent friendship, endurance, and the remembering of lost or absent friends.

THE TRIPTYCH WINDOWS SERIES: A triptych is a piece of art that is divided into three, fairly common among old stained glass installations.
