THE PIN: The North Star is often spoken of as the thing - be it literal or metaphorical - that guides, reveals, and lends purpose to one’s journey. Jyn’s window tells the story of her North Star, a story of hope, which is set amidst a field of stardust.

After the fashion of martyrs in old religious imagery, Jyn is haloed by the explosion on Scarif. This explosion doubles as the disc of the Death Star plans (codename: Stardust) that she and her company give their lives to secure. At the top of her window, her kyber crystal is joined by a small host of other crystals…one for each primary character that lost their life in the name of the rebellion in the story of Rogue One. Her flower is the freesia, which represents trust, friendship, and depending on the color…freedom.

THE TRIPTYCH WINDOWS SERIES: A triptych is a piece of art that is divided into three, fairly common among old stained glass installations.
